When the University of New South Wales set out to revitalise its Village Green, the vision was to create more than just a feature — it needed a centrepiece for campus life.

BOULDERING® delivered a custom climbing structure that is both visually striking and highly engaging. With ~70 sqm of surface, ~650 holds, and capacity for over 20 climbers at once, the wall has become the focal point of the new sport and leisure precinct.

Designed in consultation with UNSW Student Life, the Outdoor Sport Club, and active student climbers, the installation balances inclusive access with meaningful challenge. A custom bridge and training wall provide progression for different skill levels, while carefully chosen colours and finishes tie the structure into the surrounding landscape.

Like every BOULDERING® project, the Village Green wall was designed and manufactured in Melbourne using precision-cut materials, industrial-grade steel, and UV-stable components. Built with recyclable elements and engineered for Australian conditions, it delivers a safe, sustainable, and long-lasting legacy for the university community.
